Tanzanian born supermodel Flaviana Matata received a 10,000 USD donation from Diamond Empowerment Fund for her Flaviana Matata Foundation. It is a foundation that supports young girl's education in Tanzania.The donation will give more opportunities to girls who cannot afford to pay for their school fees. Flaviana Matata is a part of Russel Simmons Charity Projects and is a Diamond Angel of D.E.F.
Diamond Empowerment Fund (D.E.F.), is an international non-profit organization co-founded by Russel Simmons to support educational empowerment programs and initiatives in African nations where diamonds are a natural resource like in Tanzania. Countries like Tanzania,Botswana and South Africa are part of Russel Simmons and his Diamond Empowerment Project
