Tanzanian super model Flaviana Matata who is based in New York and London has recently completed a successful season at the London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2013.
Flaviana Matata has been on the catwalk since 2010 and this season she has been part of some of the most successful shows of world renowned designers. One such spectacular show was that of Vivenne Westwood Red label.
But the most memorable and largest show of this London season was that of designer Philip Treacy. This show was opened by celebrity artist Lady Gaga who also later attended the show in a bizarre headgear.
During this show, the models including Flaviana Matata wore the original jackets of Michael Jackson and the theme of the show was centered around outrageous headgears.
Flaviana Matata also showcased for Mike Fast, Christopher Raeburn during this season.
During the Fashion Week, Flaviana was also interviewed by Wall Street Journal and featured in its SpeakEasy segment as “A day in the life of a Runway Model at Fashion Week”
Flaviana is Miss Universe Tanzania 2007 and the first woman to hold this title in the history of the country. In 2007, she represented Tanzanian very well at the international level clinching 6th spot and making it into the top 10.
