Diamond Platnumz msanii toka nchini Tanzanian ambaye jina lake halisi ni Nasibu Abdul Juma akizaliwa tarehe 2nd October 1989. He is popularly known as ‘Diamond’ and his type of music is described as ‘bongo flava’. In Tanzanian ‘bongo flava’ refers to ‘pop music’. Diamond is not new on the Big Brother Africa stage- he performed at the Big Brother Africa 7 eviction show in May 2012. His fans love and rate him as one of the few influential artists of his time. The audience jumped and screamed as he performed on stage, clearly enjoying the music.
